The Yamaha F15 outboard engine is one of two very similar engines in the Yamaha range, the F15 and the F20. At 15hp, the Yamaha F15 is the smallest of the two similar Yamaha models.

The F15 is steered and controlled by the tiller handle or remote control options and it is either a manual pull start or electric start engine. There a simple lever-operated system for forward and reverse gears. The built-in fuel tank gives a sensible range for a 15hp outboard engine. There is a coupling for the (supplied as standard) 12 litre fuel tank, to give this Yamaha 15hp engine a longer range.

For all leisure users, the Yamaha F15 engine comes with a five-year warranty. For all commercial users, the Yamaha F15 outboard engine comes with a two-year limited hours warranty.
